Today, Sunday, the Israeli occupation forces deployed a number of checkpoints on Road No. 1, which connects Jerusalem and Jaffa.
The Hebrew media reported that the occupation forces set up flying checkpoints on various sections of the road that passes through a number of settlements, west of Jerusalem, all the way to occupied Jaffa.
The Hebrew sources added that the reason for the occupation forces' deployment in the street and the setting up of checkpoints was a security warning that reached the Shin Bet leadership about the possibility of a major operation taking place in the Jerusalem area.
Road No. 1 has witnessed many operations, ranging from running over, stabbing and shooting, over the past years.
