Tens of thousands of worshipers performed Friday prayers in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque in the city of Jerusalem, despite the restrictions and military measures imposed by the occupation police at the gates of the mosque and the entrances to the Old City.
The Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem said that 50,000 worshipers performed Friday prayers today at Al-Aqsa Mosque, despite the occupation’s measures and restrictions on worshipers’ access to the mosque.
The Jerusalem News correspondent reported that the occupation forces prevented dozens of young men from reaching Al-Aqsa Mosque, and assaulted and pushed them at Bab Al-Asbat, since the early morning hours.
Hundreds of Palestinians performed the dawn prayer at Al-Aqsa Mosque today, Friday.
Worshippers flocked from various neighborhoods and towns of Jerusalem to perform the dawn prayer at Al-Aqsa, while dozens of buses were sent to Al-Aqsa from towns and cities inside the occupied territories.
