
In the presence of Sheikh Akram Sabri, head of the Supreme Islamic Council, preacher of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and a number of Jerusalemite figures, a launch ceremony was held for the book “Bab Hatta and its Neighborhoods Over Seven Centuries.”
The ceremony was held at the headquarters of the Burj Al-Luqluq Association in Jerusalem, yesterday, Tuesday, in the town of Al-Eizariya, east of Jerusalem.
The book deals with the history of Bab al-Hatta neighbourhood in the Old City of Jerusalem over seven centuries, from the Salah al-Din conquest to the British occupation.
The book is by researchers Ibrahim Rabaya and Aziz Al-Assa, under the supervision of the director of Burj Al-Laqlaq, Montaser Edkidek, and with an introduction by Sheikh Akram Sabri.
