On Sunday, Jerusalemite activists launched calls for a sit-in and a retreat in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque tomorrow, Monday, to confront the incursions of extremist settlers.

These calls come in response to the alleged call by the Temple Mount organization to storm Al-Aqsa Mosque on the 6th of November, on the occasion of the so-called Hebrew “Thanksgiving.”

The extremist groups called for a new level of storming of Al-Aqsa, and the introduction of “tools for prayers and Talmudic rituals into the eastern area of the mosque, to establish their right to pray,” according to their claim.

The Islamic Movement in occupied Jerusalem stressed in a statement the need to intensify the presence in Al-Aqsa Mosque through vigils, retreats, and ongoing activities from now until the end of the holy month of Ramadan, confirming its Islamic character in all its courtyards, corridors, platforms, and prayer halls.

She called on the Palestinian people in Jerusalem, the occupied West Bank and the interior to rally around “an impregnable barrier around Al-Aqsa Mosque,” calling on the Islamic nation to “do its duty through a continuous series of escalating crowds, events and activities during the coming months in support of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque.”

She said: “The people of Jerusalem are fighting the battle to defend their holy sites, and they stand as an impregnable barrier against the Zionist plans in the most dangerous phase since the beginning of the occupation, and they constitute the first trench of defense for the dignity, pride and honor of the nation, so the Islamic nation must stand up for them and support them with their lives, their souls and everything precious and valuable.”

She added, "Here is Ben Gvir and the occupation government behind him, continuing to implement its program and electoral pledges, disregarding international and humanitarian covenants and laws."
