On Friday, the Administrative Prisoners Committee in Israeli occupation prisons announced the start of an open hunger strike, which will begin in the coming days.
According to a statement by the committee published by the Prisoners’ Information Office, this step aims to put pressure on the occupation to force it to deal with the demands of administrative prisoners, most notably, setting the ceiling for administrative detention.
In its statement, the committee considered that the mass hunger strike, with external support and the embrace of factions, is an effective and effective weapon, noting that the decision was taken after various consultations that took place around the clock with those outside the prisons.
The committee called on the resistance and the Palestinian people to stand behind the captive movement of administrative detainees.
