Monday evening, 23/10/2023The Zionist Occupation Prison Service announced the death of an administrative detainee in its prisons.

According to what was reported by the occupation, the prisoner was 58 years old, from the people of Tubas, in the northern West Bank, and he died during his transfer from “Megiddo” prison in northern occupied Palestine by ambulance to an Zionist hospital.

It was later revealed that the prisoner who was elevated was Omar Daraghmeh (Abu Al-Nimr). He was arrested by the occupation forces along with his son on 10/8/2023 and was transferred to administrative detention.

In its comment on the incident, the Commission for Prisoners and Ex-Detainees Affairs confirmed the martyrdom of Omar Daraghmeh, and that it casts doubt on the occupation’s account of the incident, as Abu al-Nimr attended a session in one of the occupation’s courts this morning, and was in good health.
