The occupation authorities continue their attack on Jerusalemite prisoners, freed prisoners and their families, in implementation of the decision of the Minister of the Army in the occupation government, to detain and confiscate the prisoners’ funds under the pretext of “receiving funds from the Palestinian Authority to support and encourage terrorism.”

For several days, the occupation forces have been carrying out raids into the homes of Jerusalemite prisoners and liberated prisoners, confiscating from them money, gold jewelry, and some valuable possessions in the house. Among the prisoners, their vehicles were confiscated.

The families of the prisoners explained that the occupation authorities detain and confiscate money and property from the liberated prisoner or his sponsors.

Some prisoners were also surprised by the seizure of their bank accounts or the sponsor’s accounts.
