Yesterday evening, Monday, the Israeli occupation forces arrested the student Shaden Suleiman Qaws (27 years old) from her home in the African community in the Old City of Jerusalem, after searching it and confiscating personal property.
Family sources said that the forces stormed Shaden's home in the African community near Bab al-Majlis, one of the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque, searched it thoroughly, vandalized its contents, and confiscated a laptop and mobile phones before arresting her.
The family added that the occupation forces took the detainee from her home to the Qishla Center near Bab al-Khalil in the Old City of Jerusalem, then transferred her to Ofer Prison, on charges of incitement via social media.
It is noteworthy that Qaws is a student at Birzeit University in the city of Ramallah. The occupation forces arrested her several days ago and imposed house arrest on her for five days.
