The Israeli occupation police mobilized its forces in the Old City of Jerusalem on Tuesday evening and closed the doors of Al-Aqsa Mosque, after reports of a “security incident” at the place.
The Hebrew “Hadshot Ptakhon” website reported that a soldier was injured in the stabbing attack near Bab al-Nazir, and several occupation forces rushed to the scene.
The identity of the perpetrator of the stabbing attack is not known, and a massive manhunt is underway for him.
A correspondent for the Beit Al-Maqdis News Agency reported that the occupation forces stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque and pursued the worshipers in the courtyard of the Dome of the Rock.
She added that she also attacked the guards of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the young men in the vicinity of Bab Al-Majlis.
