The Europeans for Jerusalem Foundation said that it had monitored dangerous settlement and Judaization plans targeting Al-Aqsa Mosque and Jerusalem last November.

Data documented by the Foundation in its monthly report on the occupation’s violations in Jerusalem last November showed that the occupation forces committed (762) violations in the city of Jerusalem distributed among (16) types of human rights violations. At the forefront of these violations were incursions and raids at a rate of 33.9 %, followed by arrests at a rate of %. 18.8 %.

The report documented the death of three Palestinians, the injury of 31 others, and dozens of cases of suffocation as a result of the occupation forces’ suppression of citizens, in addition to the exposure of at least 45 people to beatings and abuse, and the implementation of (53) shooting incidents and direct attacks in the neighborhoods of occupied Jerusalem.

The report documented the occupation forces carrying out (258) raids into the towns and neighborhoods of Jerusalem, during which they arrested 143 citizens, including 8 women and 20 children, summoned 19 others, and imposed house arrest on 17 people.

In terms of demolition operations, the report documented the occupation forces carrying out (15) demolition operations and distributing notices, which resulted in the demolition of 10 homes, including 3 whose owners were forced to forcibly attack them, and the destruction of 3 facilities, namely a nursery, a bakery, and a farm, in addition to the bulldozing of agricultural lands and the removal of the roof and roof of a historic mosque minaret. And the distribution of demolition notices, most notably 37 notices targeting the destruction of facilities in the Wadi Al-Jouz neighborhood.

According to the report; The occupation authorities published announcements to seize hundreds of dunams of land in the town of Hizma, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, to expand the main street in the town, which extends from the entrance to the town of Anata and passes through the entrance to Hizma, in order to serve the settlers.

He also pointed out that the occupation forces continue to perpetuate settlement and Judaization, monitoring 8 decisions, including approving a plan to build the American embassy, building settlement units, financing settlement and Judaization projects, and establishing fake cemeteries.

According to the report; 4,239 settlers and more than 90,000, under the name of tourists, participated in the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque, which was repeated over a period of 22 days.

He pointed out that the Israeli occupation police continue to implement the policy of deportation from Al-Aqsa Mosque or the city of Jerusalem, noting that (12) deportation decisions have been documented from Al-Aqsa Mosque and Jerusalem neighborhoods, including 6 from the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, 3 from the Old City, and 1 from the city of Jerusalem.

The report documented (9) attacks carried out by settlers, which resulted in the injury of many citizens and the damage to many structures.

The Europeans for Jerusalem Foundation warned of the dangerous repercussions of the escalatory Israeli policy in Jerusalem in general and against Al-Aqsa Mosque in particular, especially with the threats. It called on the international community to take quick action to pressure Israel to stop its attacks and retreat from its attempt to change the status quo in Al-Aqsa Mosque, and to retreat from the policy of seizing homes. Palestinian real estate, implementing forced displacement plans, and putting an end to the gross human rights violations committed by the occupation authorities.
