Today, Wednesday, the Israeli occupation authorities decided to postpone the trial of prisoner Azhar Assaf from the town of Al-Jib, northwest of the city of Jerusalem.

The Prisoners’ Media Office said, “The occupation authorities postponed the trial of prisoner ‘Assaf’ until January 25, despite her difficult health condition.”

The prisoner "Assaf" has been detained since September 11, and suffers from many health problems, most notably nervous problems, and problems with hearing and vision.

She is one of 14 female prisoners from Jerusalem who are in the occupation prisons, out of 31 Palestinian female prisoners from all Palestinian governorates.
