Settler groups continue their attempts to Judaize the Old City of Hebron and strengthen their presence in the city, with the support and cover of the Israeli occupation government, through settlement activities and continuous attacks against the people, its landmarks and its history.

During the recent period, settlers intensified their marches in the Old City of Hebron, starting from the settlements, especially “Kiryat Arba,” towards the Ibrahimi Mosque, including attacks against Palestinians under the protection of occupation soldiers.

Activists warned of the recent increase in the number of settler marches in the Old City and the number of settlers participating in them, and the accompanying attacks, street closures, and obstruction of Palestinian movement.

Settlers exploit Jewish holidays to intensify their attacks, especially on the so-called “Sarah’s Saturday,” with the participation of thousands of settlers from West Bank settlements.
