Today, Monday, the Israeli occupation authorities notified the demolition of 37 homes and commercial facilities in the town of Silwan, south of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, in the occupied city of Jerusalem.
The new notification orders issued by the occupation authorities came as part of a Judaization plan for the infrastructure to pave a settlement road known as “the American Street.”
Demolitions have escalated in the city of Jerusalem since the beginning of this month, and the Palestine Information Center “Ma’ti” documented 94 acts of property destruction in the city, while the occupation authorities justify the demolition of homes by not obtaining a permit, despite the scarcity of approval for the necessary permits to build homes for Jerusalemites.
