Yesterday, Monday, the Israeli occupation forces notified the demolition of a number of homes and facilities in the town of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the town of Al-Issawiya, northeast of Jerusalem.

The correspondent of Beit Al-Maqdis News reported that the occupation forces, accompanied by the crews of the occupation municipality in Jerusalem, stormed the Ein Al-Lawza neighborhood in Silwan and handed the Jerusalemite citizen Omar Siam a notice to demolish and remove a plot of land in front of his house, while they imposed demolition orders and decisions to review the occupation municipality in the neighborhood of Obeid and Dari in the town of Issawiya, and imposed fines on the vehicles of the residents in the town.

According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, the occupation authorities carried out a total of 684 demolitions of 903 facilities in the West Bank, including the city of Jerusalem, during 2024, and issued 936 demolition notices for Palestinian facilities.
