The occupation authorities issued administrative detention orders against more than 63 Palestinian prisoners from the West Bank.

Administrative detention orders varied between new ones and renewals for previous detainees for periods ranging from 3 to 6 months.

Among the prisoners whose detention was extended is Moamen Al-Qarawi, the son of MP Fathi Al-Qarawi from Tulkarm, whose detention was extended for 6 months.

According to the prisoners’ institutions, the number of arrest campaigns during the year 2024 reached more than (8800), while the number of arrests since the beginning of the war of extermination reached about (14) thousand and 300 arrests in the West Bank, including Jerusalem.

The number of administrative detention orders since the beginning of the war of extermination has reached more than ten thousand orders, including new orders and renewal orders, including orders against children and women.

The number of prisoners and detainees in the occupation prisons exceeds ten thousand and 300 until the beginning of December 2024, while the number of administrative detainees is (3428), including at least (100) children, and (22) female prisoners. The number of those classified by the occupation prison administration from the Gaza detainees (as illegal combatants) who were recognized by the occupation prison administration is (1772), noting that this data does not include all the detainees of Gaza, specifically those in the camps affiliated with the occupation army.
