The occupation municipality crews carried out excavation work in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem, and placed fences and “Zinko” panels.

The occupation municipality placed a sign in the vicinity of the works that read, “A project to restore and renovate the memorial site in Sheikh Jarrah,” to establish terraces, a site for performances, and an observation deck.

The occupation authorities had confiscated the land several years ago, and recently demolished a cave used as a home for the Diab family. Today, they began bulldozing work and placed a fence around the works to prevent access to the site.
