A young man was killed at dawn today, Thursday, by Israeli occupation forces, during the storming of the Qalandia camp, north of occupied Jerusalem.
The Ministry of Health announced the martyrdom of the young man, Samir Awni Harbi Aslan (41 years old), after he was hit by a bullet that penetrated his chest, fired at him by the occupation army during the aggression against the Qalandiya camp.
The Prisoners’ Information Office reported that “Aslan” was martyred after trying to defend his son, “Ramzi,” during his barbaric arrest, as his last words to his son were, “Insulted, Ramzi.”
A comprehensive strike was announced today in Qalandiya camp, to mourn the soul of the young man Samir Aslan. Qalandiya mosques also mourned the martyr who rose during a massive storming of the camp.
The occupation forces launched a massive arrest campaign in Qalandia camp, targeting 14 Palestinians, most of whom were freed prisoners.
Within 24 hours, three martyrs died in the West Bank and Jerusalem: Ahmed Abu Junaid from Balata Camp in Nablus, Sanad Samamra from Al-Dhahiriya in Hebron, and Samir Aslan from Qalandia Camp in Jerusalem.
