The “Mazmoria” checkpoint, located south of occupied Jerusalem, witnessed a stabbing attack targeting members of the Israeli occupation police stationed there.

A Palestinian carried out a stabbing attack near the checkpoint, wounding two occupation police officers, according to what the Hebrew media announced.

The perpetrator of the operation was wounded by occupation bullets, and his martyrdom was later announced, and his identity was revealed. He is Ahmed Alyan, a resident of the town of Jabal Mukaber, south of occupied Jerusalem.

The martyr Ahmed, the cousin of the martyr Bahaa Alyan, who carried out an operation in the “Armon Netsiv” settlement near Jabal Mukaber, during the year 2015, is a football player.

Following the operation, the occupation forces stormed the town of Jabal Mukaber and arrested the father, mother, brother and sister of the martyr Ahmed Alyan, and took them to a detention and analysis center in Jerusalem.

The occupation forces detained Alyan's body, bringing the number of bodies of Jerusalemite martyrs in their custody to 34.
