20,000 worshipers performed Friday prayers in the blessed mosque, despite the restrictions of the occupation and the continued siege of the mosque.
Tens of thousands of worshipers were able to reach Al-Aqsa despite the occupation’s obstacles and military measures in the vicinity of the Blessed Mosque and in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem.
The occupation forces prevented young men from entering Al-Aqsa, forcing them to perform prayer near the Lions' Gate, while the occupation soldiers arrested a number of young men and assaulted them by pushing them at the door.
Coinciding with Friday prayers, the occupation forces launched a campaign of abuse and assault on worshipers in the vicinity of Al-Aqsa and in the occupied city of Jerusalem, in addition to assaulting worshipers on Bab al-Silsilah Road as they were leaving the mosque, and sprayed them with pepper gas.
