Tens of thousands of Palestinians performed Eid al-Fitr prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque on Wednesday, despite the restrictions and barriers of the Israeli occupation.

Worshippers began arriving at Al-Aqsa Mosque in the pre-dawn hours, coming from various areas of Jerusalem, while popular activities in the occupied interior sent dozens of buses to Al-Aqsa.

After the Eid prayer in Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Israeli occupation forces tried to annoy the Palestinians, so they stormed the mosque and assaulted those leaving it after the prayer near Bab Al-Silsila.

The Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem reported that 60,000 worshipers performed Eid al-Fitr prayers in the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
