The Israeli occupation authorities announced, yesterday evening, Monday, the seizure of 262 dunums of land northeast of Jerusalem for the expansion of a colonial road.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported in a statement that the occupation authorities announced the “expropriation” of more than 262 dunums of land in Jaba’, Al-Ram, Kafr Aqab and Mikhmas in occupied Jerusalem, for the benefit of the settlement Road 45.
The statement explained that the settlement road extends from the town of Mikhmas, northeast of Jerusalem, to the new tunnel under Qalandia Airport, north of the city, noting that the project will begin to be implemented within 60 days.
