The Arab world is still expressing its anger after the Israeli Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, all of them stressing their rejection of any unilateral measures that violate international law, while they are now waiting for the world, especially America, to deal with the far-right government that is further inflaming the tension between the two parties.
In this regard, journalist Rafat Fayyad said that storming Jerusalem is a natural development expected after the formation of the current far-right Israeli government, whether by working quickly and extensively to completely Judaize Jerusalem, and increasing the percentage of settlement in the West Bank until it is completely eliminated in the hope that there will be an independent Palestinian state after that.
Fayyad continued, during a press interview, that what was proposed since former US President Barack Obama assumed the presidency of America was to have two states, but he failed to implement what he promised after that due to the nature of the strategic relationship between Israel and the United States of America.
He stressed that the entry and storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque by the Israeli Minister of National Security confirms the orientations of this government towards the complete Judaization of Jerusalem and increasing the percentage of settlement, noting that the position of the United States of America is now at stake before the world and the extent of its objectivity with this crisis.
He noted that "China's move was faster than the United States of America, and we are waiting for the Security Council when what happened in Jerusalem is discussed before the world to know how the world, especially the United States, will deal with the far-right government that is further inflaming the situation between the Palestinians and the Israelis."
Israeli Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, amid a large Israeli security presence.
Israeli media published photos of Ben Gvir walking around the site under heavy guard, noting that he left the Al-Aqsa Mosque courtyard after being there for a short period.
Meanwhile, Washington called on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to abide by his pledges to preserve the status quo of the holy sites, after the new far-right Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound on Tuesday morning.
