As the start of the new school year approaches in Jerusalem, circles in the occupied city sense a threat to the curriculum and the educational process.

Schools affiliated with the Palestinian Ministry of Education, under the protection of the Islamic Endowments, are living in extremely dangerous conditions. With the ongoing war by the occupation against the education sector in Jerusalem, the teachers’ strike is casting a shadow on Jerusalem’s students and teachers.

There are more than 150 teachers, in important specializations, such as: mathematics, science, physics, chemistry, and others, who have submitted their resignations or applied for open leave, while 700 male and female students have left those schools, and 25 educational departments have been closed, and the rope is on the tractor.
