The prisoners of occupied Jerusalem suffer from being deprived of the most basic human rights, and they, like other prisoners, face all kinds of torture, neglect and suffering, due to the retaliatory policies of the occupation authorities against them.

According to the Committee of the Families of Jerusalemite Prisoners in the Occupation Prisons, there are more than 550 Jerusalemite prisoners in the occupation prisons, including 5 women, 45 minor children, and 52 administrative detainees, in addition to detainees in temporary detention centers such as the “Al-Maskobiyya” detention center in Jerusalem.

Since the beginning of April, the occupation has issued administrative detention orders against 10 Jerusalemites, including 3 new orders and 7 extension orders.
