The national and Islamic forces and factions in the occupied West Bank announced today, Wednesday, a comprehensive strike in all governorates of the West Bank, in condemnation of the assassination of the head of the political bureau of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh.
The national and Islamic forces called, in a statement, for a general and comprehensive strike and to go out in angry marches and to areas of contact.
The forces stressed that the assassination of the great national leader Ismail Haniyeh comes within the framework of the occupation state's terrorism, and the war of extermination, destruction and killing in light of the international community's inability to stop the war and hold the occupation accountable for its crimes.
She added: "At a time when the forces mourn the martyr leader Ismail Haniyeh to all our Palestinian people, our nation, and the free people of the world, they affirm that this cowardly assassination will not break the will of our people to resist and stand firm, but will increase our determination and resolve to move forward by adhering to our rights, our constants, our struggle, and our resistance for freedom and independence."
The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas mourned the head of its political bureau, the martyred leader and mujahid Ismail Haniyeh, who was killed in a treacherous Zionist raid on his residence in Tehran, after participating in the inauguration ceremony of the new Iranian president.
