Today, Sunday, the occupation military court issued a 13-month prison sentence against Jerusalemite prisoner Obaida Al-Tawil.

Al-Tawil is a resident of Ras Al-Amoud, in Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque. The occupation forces had previously arrested him several times and kept him away from Al-Aqsa Mosque.

It is worth noting that Al-Taweel has been detained by the Zionist occupation since June 6, 2022, and with the period of his detention by the occupation being counted as part of the sentence, he was released this morning.

The Zionist occupation authorities brought “accusations” against Al-Tawil related to resisting the occupation in Jerusalem, like thousands of Jerusalemites who are active in Rabat in Al-Aqsa and defending Jerusalem.
