With the beginnings of the occupation of East Jerusalem, specifically in 1970, the idea of gardens was launched, but their intensity has escalated in recent years, and they were concentrated in the vicinity adjacent to Al-Aqsa Mosque and the historic Jerusalem Wall, and around the Old City and the areas overlooking it from the southern, eastern and northern sides.
